A pharmacokinetic comparison of oral thin film containing reduced glutathione in healthy adults

Randomised double-blind comparison study · Dr. Tracy Gibbs PhD, et al.

20 subjects · serial blood draws at 0, 10, 30, 60, 120 and 240 minutes

Two buccal glutathione strip formulations were compared under multidose conditions. The strip using the patent-pending permeation-enhancing blend reached a mean Tmax of 23 minutes versus 59 minutes, with 94% absorption at the 30-minute mark against 86%.
